Xi Jinping pays Tribute to Martyrs at Monument Square

Chinese President Xi Jinping Monday paid tribute to martyrs who died in the Hundred-Regiment Campaign during the war of resistance against Japanese aggression, in Yangquan of north China's Shanxi Province.

At the monument square honoring the martyrs, Xi paid a visit to the memorial hall and reviewed the history of the CPC leading both the military and civilians in the courageous fight against Japanese invaders and the local efforts to carry out revolutionary history education and promote the great spirit of resisting aggression.
