Xi Hold Talks with Vietnamese President

New General Secretary of VietnamCommunist PartyTo Lam paid his first visit to China and met Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday.

They signed cooperation documents inside the state building off Tiananmen Square. Xi said this fully reflects the great importance he attaches to the relations between the two parties and the two countries, as well as the high level and strategic nature of China-Viet Nam relations.

Xi expressed the willingness to establish good working relations and personal friendship with Lam to jointly guide the substantial development in building a China-Viet Nam community with a shared future.
