Xi extends Spring Festival greetings to all Chinese

Chinese President Xi Jinping extended Spring Festival greetings to all Chinese at a reception in Beijing on Monday.

Xi delivered a speech at the gathering at the Great Hall of the People, greeting Chinese people of all ethnic groups. In 2025, China will further deepen reforms across the board, expand high-standard opening up, guard against and defuse risks in key areas and promote sustained economic recovery, Xi said.

China will continue to improve people's living standards and ensure that more benefits of modernization are shared among all the people in a more equitable way, Xi added.
