A Turkish military cargo plane carrying Turkish, Azeri and Georgian citizens evacuated from China's Wuhan landed in Ankara on Saturday. The evacuees were dressed in protective suits and wore masks during the flight and moved to a hospital with ambulances to be put under quarantine for 14 days immediately. According to Turkey's health minister, none of the evacuees had shown symptoms of the coronavirus.

Wuhan was the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak that has infected thousands and killed at least 250 people. Nearly 10,000 flights have been suspended since the outbreak began, according to travel and data analytics firm Cirium. Many nations have put on special charter flights to repatriate citizens from China.
