




Benchmark WTI crude oil futures topped 100 dollars per barrel in New York trading on Sunday. The 111-dollar mark was hit at one point. Concerns are growing about the transportation of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. This comes as the US-Israeli attacks on Iran and the retaliatory strikes by Tehran continue. This is the first time since July 2022 that WTI futures have risen above 100 dollars per barrel.
