The world's last mass-produced Boeing 747 has been delivered. The aircraft, operated by Apex Logistics International, will fly intercontinental cargo routes from China's Chengdu to North America in the future. Boeing began the 747 production in 1967, and announced in 2020, it would end production of the 747.

The last 747 in mass production, the 747-8 freighter is an all-cargo transport variant of the 747-8 jet aircraft, capable of carrying about 135 metric tons of cargo when fully loaded. Apex Logistics International said that the use of the largest cargo plane is because of the bright future of the international trade market between Chengdu and North America.
