World Consumer Rights Day: Commemorative event held in Nay Pyi Taw

World Consumer Rights Day was observed in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday, with the attendance of Chairman of Myanmar Consumer Protection Commission Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn.

After formal opening of the ceremony, the attendees led by the Union Minister viewed the commemorative booths to mark the World Consumer Rights Day. The ceremony then continued with an opening speech by the Union Minister, followed by the explanation on the purpose of organizing the ceremony.

During the ceremony, a commemorative video clip on consumer rights awareness, musical performance and demonstration program on settling consumers’ complaints were staged. The winners of commemorative competitions were also awarded with prizes during the event.
