World Children’s Day: MoSWRR Union Minister gave opening speech

World Children’s Day marking 34th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child was celebrated at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in the morning on 20th November with the attendance of the Chairman of the National Committee on the Rights of the Child, Union Minister Dr. Soe Win, Deputy ministers, Vice Chairman of Myanmar National Human rights Commission and Senior officials.

At the occasion, the Union Minister gave an opening remark. Next, the documentary video on the implementation of the rights of the child was screened, the children from Nay Pyi Taw child nursery center and pre-schools and the children from the divisions and child nursery schools of Yangon Region presented with songs and dances, the Union Minister presented prizes, took the documentary photo and concluded the celebration.

In the afternoon, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of warehouse keeping training (2/2023) and gave the opening remark. The warehouse keeping training is being attended by 30 trainees and will take place for 5 days.
