World Breastfeeding Week: Rakhine State CM attended the events

The event of 2024 State level World Breastfeeding Week and Nutrition Week was held at Khine Thazin Hall in Sittwe Township in the morning on 20th August and attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, State Government members and officials.

First, the State Chief Minister said that the State Administration Council is implementing for the development of the country by setting 5 point-roadmap and 9 objective in line with the changing situations. The Rakhine State Government is also making effort for the sectorwise developmen of Rakhine State in accordance with the principles of the Union Government.

The departments, social organizations and public are urged to collaborate in the fundemendal and important nutritious works to turn out the healthy, fit and sharp youth who are well-equipped with the five strengths in the building the modern and developped nationn.

Next, the head officer of State Public Health Department Dr. Kyi Lwin clarified regarding with organizing nutrition weeks. Then, Chief Minister and State Ministers awarded the prize winner mothers and childs and viewed the vedio clip on awareness campaign for World Breastfeeding Week.

After completing the event, State Chief Minister and officials fed Vitamin-A capsules to the children under five and presented gifts and provided nutritious tablets and nutrition gifts to the expectant mothers.

Then, the Chief Minister and party viewed round the display of foods for growth and demonstration of systematic hand washing and provided cash of honor.
