World Breastfeeding Week: Nutrition Promotion Week Campaign Conducted in Loikaw

In commemoration of World Breastfeeding Week and Nutrition Promotion Week, the State-level commemorative ceremony was held at the Public Health Department in Loikaw, Kayah State on Tuesday.
During the ceremony, KayahState Minister for Social Affairs U Aung Win Oo said conducting the breastfeeding week campaigns can encourage people to participate in nutrition promotion activities and gain knowledge about breastfeeding and nutrition.
It can also help raising public awareness of child and maternal health. At the event, officials also provided Vitamin A supplements to children under the age of 5 years and prenatal vitamins to pregnant mothers.
