World’s largest Abacus and Mental Arithmetic event

Around 6,000 students from around 30 countries competed in the Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic System (UCMAS) International Competition 2024 in New Delhi on Saturday.

The two-day event was attended by 6,000 students from around 30 countries. Students from different countries competed to showcase their mental prowess to solve a large number of mathematical problems in the least possible time to win the awards.

The participants are allowed to only use abacus or mental calculations to solve the problems.

The event, dubbed as world's largest Abacus and Mental Arithmetic event, tested the mental capabilities of participants to solve as many problems as possible in the quickest possible time.
