Workshop on Youth: MOSYA UM delivered an opening speech

Under the guidance of the Central Committee for Myanmar Youth Affairs, a youth workshop discussion was jointly organized by the Myanmar Youth Affairs Working Committee and the Myanmar Youth Development Association (MYDA), was held at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium (C) in Nay Pyi Taw on February 26 and attended by the Chairman of the Central Committee Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, deputy ministers, relevant officials, Central Committee members, Nay Pyi Taw Council members, Working Committee members, Chairman and officials of the Myanmar Youth Development Association (MYDA), and youth representatives.

The ceremony commenced with the singing of the national anthem, followed by an opening speech from the Central Committee Chairman.

In his address, he noted that the workshop, themed “One Voice, One Vision: Empowering Youth For Unity and Friendship,” aimed to provide young people with valuable experiences. He urged the youth to learn from these experiences, contribute to the nation’s and public’s interests to the best of their abilities, and strive to become future leaders with the five strengths of knowledge and pride. He encouraged them to play a role in shaping a developed society.

Following this, Chairman of the Myanmar Youth Development Association (MYDA) U Zaw Myo Aung, explained the purpose behind organizing the workshop.

In the second part of the event, under the theme “Building a Resilient and Innovative Future,” discussions were held with experts, young entrepreneurs, and youth representatives dispatched on international trips by MYDA. Group discussions followed, moderated by U Aung Ko Ko Tin Win, Deputy Managing Director of the First National Insurance, along with representatives from supporting organizations.

After these exchanges, the first day of the youth workshop concluded. Insights and discussions from the youth representatives on the first day will be reviewed and continued on February 27, it’s learnt.
