Workshop on VLMS: UEC Chairman gave an opening remark

The workshop on the voters list management system (4th edition) organized by the Union Election Commission was held at Hsin Phyu Shin Hall of No (3) Transit Camp in Nay Pyi Taw at 9 AM on Sunday.

In his remark, the UEC Chairman U Ko Ko said that UEC has organized workshop on the voters list management system for 4th edition successfully aiming at implementing the correct and complete basic voter list, a total of 734 personnel including 431 in person and 303 through online has participated, organizing such workshop is to find the solution for the voters list management system’s weaknesses and difficulties through discussion in compiling voters lists quickly and correctly.

The necessary preparations for holding the Election are needed to accelerate and to be ready.

The workshop was attended the UEC members, officials from the Ministry of Immigration and Population and UEC office and the personnel from the sub–Election Commissions, will be conducted from 7th to 11th July, it’s learnt.
