Workshop on VLMS: UEC Chairman gave an opening remark

The workshop on the voters’ list management system of the Union Election Commission was conducted at the Transit-Camp (3) (Ywa Daw) in Nay Pyi Taw at 9:30 Am on June 17.

In his opening remark, Union Election Commission Chairman U Ko Ko said that the State Administration Council formed a Ground Census Enumeration Central Committee on 30th November, 2022.

The Committee has been reporting the population list of those who have been full of 18 years and the Committee has received first and second draft of those populations. Those lists are being putting into every single polling stations as per the Township by using Admin and DEO Software and Central Voter List Management System.

In the workshop, management of file and folder regarding with the population list, verification and cleaning of population lists, the lists are compiling and putting into the Central level voter list management system (CVLMS) by using Admin and DEO Software etc.

The workshop was also attended by the UEC members, responsible officials from the General Administration Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Immigration and Population, officials from the UEC office and the personnel from the townships of Regions, States and Union Territory and the workshop will take place from 17th to 21st June, it’s learnt.
