Workshop on VLMS: UEC Chairman attended and gave a remark

The Workshop on voters lists management system (3rd batch) organized by the Union Election Commission was held at Hsin Phyu Shin Hall of No (3) Transit Camp (Ywa Taw) in Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on Monday.

In his remark at the workshop, the UEC Chairman U Ko Ko said that the only purpose of conducting workshop on voters lists management system is for being correct voters list. The correct voters’ list is depending on the correct and complete population list.

The Ground Census Enumeration Central Committee has been reporting the population list of those who have been full of 18 years and the Committee has received first and second draft of those populations. Those lists are being putting into every single polling stations as per the Township by using Admin and DEO Software and Central Voter List Management System (CVLMS).At the meeting with the departmental personnel and town elders in Kantaw Mingalar Hall of Meiktila Township on 15th June, the Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing spoke of the preparations being made for holding a free and fair multiparty democratic general election in the coming year.

That description is the words putting on alert.The workshop was attended by the UEC members, officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, General Administration Department, Ministry of Immigration and Population, officials from the UEC Office and the personnel from the sub-election commissions. The work will be conducted from 1st to 5th of July, it’s learnt.
