Workshop on Education Development: Technological University (Magway) organizes the event

A workshop on education development was held at the Technological University (Magway) with the attendance of the Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin on 30th August.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stressed that the workshop is organized to develop the university education system through discussions on the procedures, aspects and behaviors of the faculty members and the relevant personnel as well as the teaching and learning systems. 

The Chief Minister added that plans are underway to transform the local Technological Universities and Universities of Computer Studies intto Polytechnic universities while efforts are making to promote local engineering education to be recognized by the international standards.

In order to develop the nation’s education sector, every relevant individual is urged to observe the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals- SDGs and accelerate the development process in line with the current education revolution (Education 4.0).

During the workshop, the topics on Education Activities, Teaching Style of an Effective Teacher, University LMS, Credit System, Purpose of Education and the Role of Teachers, University-Industry Linkage and Necessities to enhance the capacity of the staff were discussed respectively.
