Work Undertakings: Voter awareness program and meeting with MPPA

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn on Saturday visited Myanma Radio and Television (Yangon) Office, to observe and encourage the recording of election awareness songs. The songs, produced to promote voter education and participation in the 2025 General Election, feature well-known artists singing “Vote for a Bright Future.”

The Union Minister also met with officials from the Myanmar Music Association (Central) and artists, praising their efforts to inform citizens, promote free and fair voting, and support democratic development. Earlier, he also met with the Myanmar Printers and Publishers Association (MPPA) to discuss the development of printing and publishing industries. He emphasized the importance of providing citizens with accurate, educational, and safe reading materials, while encouraging publishers and printers to comply with laws and contribute to national progress.
