Work Undertakings: Tree planting, Elephant Day and renewable energy

In commemoration of the World Elephant Day 2023, a monsoon tree planting ceremony was held at Shwe Sattaw Man Chaung Elephant Camp in Minbuu Timber Extraction area of Myanma Timber Enterprise on Saturday.

Magwe Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin took part in the activity together with the officials and staff. The Chief Minister later attended the World Elephant Day Commemorative Ceremony, held at the Elephant Camp and made a speech.

The ceremony was held under the theme “Bringing the world together to help elephants”. After hearing the reports on the salient points of the elephant camp by the official, the Chief Minister presented foodstuff to the staff.

The Chief Minister and party later fed the elephants with various fruits. The Chief Minister and party later visited Minbuu Solar-powered Power Plant. Officials reported on the work undertakings and the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions.
