Work Undertakings: Performing Arts Competition & Coordination Meeting

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan met with the contestants who are under training to participate in 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition on 12th October.
There, the Chief Minister urged the contestants to make concerted efforts in competition to win medals. Then, he provided 1 million kyat for the contestants. A total of 115 contestants from Kachin State will participate in the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition under respective category and level.
Then, the Chief Minister presided over a coordination meeting with the state ministers, departmental officials and district/township administration bodies at the state government office for the cleaning and beautifying of the townships of the state in accordance with the urban characteristics.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the cleanliness of the hospitals, schools, pagodas and monestaries as priority. Departmental personnel are urged to focus on the cleaning and beautifying of their respective department, township and office, he added.
Then, the officials presented reports on collective cleaning tasks to be implemented and the requirements of workforce, machine and garbage trucks and the Chief Minister coordinated requirements.
