Work Undertakings: MOC held work coordination meeting

The Ministry of Commerce held its work coordination meeting for first half of 2023-2024 fiscal year at the Ministry on Friday with the attendance by Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister gave detailed explanation about the works to be implemented by the ministry that included in the guidance of the Chairman of the State Administration Council at the Union Government and the Economic Affairs Committee meetings.

He also clarified the further implementation of the tasks, assistance for boosting productivity of micro, small and medium scale enterprises (MSME), increased export of high-qualified domestic products, foreign market penetration, further improvement on trade relations, fight against illegal trade and improvement of staff’s capacity building as well as the procedures to be carried out.

Then, the Deputy Minister for Commerce explained about the organization chart of the Ministry, employee welfare, duties of the department and the rules and regulations for the staff.

After that, the permanent secretary, the directors-general and the directors of the border trade posts reported on the work undertakings and the works to be carried out. Then, the Union Minister coordinated the essentials related to the work undertakings.
