Work Undertakings: Meetings with religious leaders and cultural associations

Member of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu held a meeting with the Leaders from sixteen religious associations in Kachin State on Wednesday to discuss matters for census enumeration, development works and stability of the state.

The SAC member highlighted the crucial rold of census enumeration process for successful holding of the election, along with the drafting policies for development of the nation. Emphasizing the need to ensure peace and stability for the success of the census enumeration, the SAC member called for collaboration of all concerned persons in raising public awareness on the laws and procedures.

The SAC member and party coordinated the needs upon reports by the attendees. On separate occasion, the SAC member and party met with the Leaders of fourteen Ethnic Literature and Culture Associations and urged all to make cooperative efforts for achieving peace and stability for implementation of the census enumeration and successful holding of election.

They also provided the needs for preservation of ethnic literature and cultural heritage. The SAC member and party later visited the Garuna Hand Youth Rehabilitation Center and provided assistance. The provisions include 50 bags of rice, 10 viss of edible oil and 5 million kyats.
