Work Undertakings: Inspection tour in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin accompanied by concerned departmental officials visited the State Education Department on January 30th to oversee the working processes at the office.

During the meeting with the staff, the Chief Minister comforted them saying collective efforts of all staff could achieve smooth governance system of the state. As all developed countries are applying and practicing systematic education system, the Ministry of Education is striving for the development of education sector under the guidance of the Head of State.

The Chief Minister added that preparations are underway for 2024-2025 Matriculation Examination, ensuring peace and security of the students. He also stressed the state government’s efforts for fulfilling the requirement of the teachers, staff, retirees and displaced individuals as well as for the renovation and conservation processes of religious buildings in Sittwe area.

Then, the Chief Minister heard reports by the officials, toured around the office to oversee the cleaning tasks of the office. The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to the University of Computer Studies (Sittwe) and inspected the conducting of computer basic training course to the staff from General Administration Department.
