









Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, along with other relevant officials, attended a donation ceremony on Friday at the Myitkyina 500-Bed People's Hospital where Kachin State Free Medical Service Foundation donated 30 advanced hospital beds.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister extended words of thanks for the generous donation and expressed hope for further social assistance and relief efforts. He then presented 30 sets of advanced hospital bed to medical superintendent on behalf of the foundation.
The Chief Minister, along with concerned officials and the donors, then toured the hospital to inspect the placement of the 30 advanced hospital beds, ensuring their proper installation and readiness for patient care.
The Chief Minister and party also attended a ceremony to honor the 2021 Mekong Literary Award winner Writer Akyi KoKo (Katha) and 2nd prize Sepak Takraw winner at the 21st ASEAN University Games, held at the State Government office. Both winners were presented with cash prizes and certificates of honor, and Writer Akyi KoKo (Katha) expressed words of thanks in return.
The Chief Minister and party later enjoyed a traditional Kachin dance performance by youth representatives who will attend the International Youth Day ceremony in Nay Pyi Taw and awarded cash prizes to them. After that, they encouraged the training of swimming athletes who will compete in fifth national sports festival and provided cash assistance.
