










Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win visited polling stations in Bago Township on Sunday, where demonstrations of voting with MEVM electronic voting machines were being shown.
He also viewed the second round of the voter list announcement. At a coordination meeting on preparations for the 2025 multiparty democratic general election, he instructed officials to ensure that all eligible voters are included in the voter lists and to inspect each polling station carefully.
Later, the Chief Minister visited Kamar Nat Village, and inspected a 500 ft production road and water pipe installation site and instructed to complete the road quickly before the crop harvest season. He also inspected a 2,200 ft concrete road plan and gave instructions on drainage and preventing land encroachment.
In Shwe Tan Village, he inspected the upgrading of a 5-furlong road into concrete and urged villagers to maintain the road for long-term use and plant shade trees along the entrance roads. The Chief Minister also met with local farmers and instructed for expansion of cultivating high-value Pawsan rice varieties for export markets.
