Work Undertakings: Development works in Myitkyina of Kachin State

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, together with the departmental officials, made inspection in Myintkyina Township of Kachin State on Tuesday.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister and party viewed landscaping processes and signboard decorations for X-mas festival at ThaKhinNatPhae and Yone Gyi Junction, Sama and Sumprabum Junction,  by the Township Development Committee.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party viewed around fire-affected area in Rampu Ward and the Chief Minister encouraged the affected people. And, the Chief Minister and party provided 1 million kyats cash assistance to 4 fire-affected households and 200,000 kyats to fire brigade members and coordinated the requirements on rehabilitation processes. They then inspected the commemoration signboard of 76th Anniversary Independence Day and Welcome to Myitkyina near Aung Zay Yan Aung Pagoda, flower plantation in May Kha Garden and implementation of recreation place for public.

At the Myitkyina Airport, the Chief Minister and party inspected the plantation of shady trees and flowers in front of the airport and repairing of floor in airport building. And, they also inspected decoration of We Love Myitkhina signboard and sunflower and shady trees plantations along Kanna Street.

Likewise, the Chief Minister and party attended a stake driving ceremony to erect Manaw Pole and Manaw ground at the lounge of the State Government Office, as plans are underway to add Manaw dance performance during the 76th Anniversary of Kachin State Day.

During the ceremony, the Reverend and Catholic Bishop gave blessings, and the Chief Minister and wife and officials erected the Manaw Pole together. The Chief Minister also presented honorary cash to the religious leaders and officials who provided assistance in the ceremony.
