Work Undertakings: Development and rehabilitation measures in Kayah State

Kayah State Government is implementing the regional development and rehabilitation measures with accelerated momentum.

On Saturday, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin visited Shwe Taung Pariyatti Sarthintaik to oversee the clearing of silt and debris, remained from the floods. He also inspected pumping of water from low-lying areas which faced inundation by the surge of Belu Creek.

On arrival at NamtKut Branch High School, the Chief Minister inspected the cleaning activities, and instructed for speedy reopening of the school. He also inspected the prevention plan for floods in NamtKut River Curve and renovation of buildings at the Nursing and Midwifery Training School. The training school is scheduled to open on 1st January 2025 with the attendance of 70 trainees.
