Work Progress Inspected: Preparations for Motion Picture Academy Awards

Preparations are underway for Myanmar Motion Picture Academy Awards Presentation Ceremony at Myanmar International Convention Center (1) in Nay Pyi Taw. On Thursday, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn in his capacity as the Chairman of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Academy Award visited the venue and viewed the progress of preparation works.

He inspected the archway of the venue, photo booth, interview booth, red carpet area, display of documentary photos of academy award winners from 1952 to 2023 and the movie list screening during 2024. Likewise in the Jade Hall of the venue, preparations have been in progress for awarding stage, along with the installation of audio and lighting system.

The Union Minister also oversaw the chosen sites for installing Stage LED Screens and LED Boards, seating area and media zone. During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed for systematic preparation measures with timely completion, meeting the standards of state-level event in a grand manner.
