Work Performances: Security Forces honoured and road extension in Pyay

Bago Region Government organized a ceremony to honour the members of security forces who performed their tasks dutifully on Thursday.

Till the end of September, 421 various weapons with over 121,000 ammunitions and related items have been seized during the incidents with the terrorists in Bago Region.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win and Commander of Southern Command Maj-Gen Htein Win expressed words of honour for the seizure of weapons and ammunitions without any injures by the security forces. A total of 12.4 million kyats and certificates of honour were presented to the members of security forces.

The Chief Minister, the Commander and officials later viewed the seized weapons and ammunitions.

The Chief Minister and party then inspected the extension of Strand Road in Pyay which is being carried out with the budget of regional government.
