Work Implementations: Cleaning and upgrading activities in Monywa

In Sagaing Region, a collective cleaning activity was carried out along the Chindwin River bank, with the aim of beautification and encouraging systematic garbage disposal.

On Saturday, members of the Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade, staff from the General Administration Department, Development Affairs Committee, departmental staff, local residents, and social organizations took part in the cleaning works along the Chindwin River bank in Kyawe Gyi Ward. Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw oversaw the activities and provided food to the participants.

The Chief Minister and party later proceeded to West Kanthaya Lake in Monywa, where they received reports on various upgrade works, including asphalting along the 5,500 ft long ring road, gravel works on the retaining wall, plans to install steel handrails, and greening works in the vicinity. He also gave instructions on meeting the set standards and the inclusion of physical fitness areas. They then inspected the progress of the upgrading works.
