Work Implementation: MOIP Union Minister tours in Mawlamyinekyun

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing accompanied by concerned officials on Wednesday visited Mawlamyinekyun Township in Ayeyawady Region to inspect issuance of household lists and NRC cards to those who have lost and damaged and to those who turn 18 years old under Phase-3 of Pan Khin Project.

He also met with locals, and coordinated the needs. The Union Minister oversaw the issuance processes of NRC cards and household lists with One Stop Service to the locals by the officials in accordance with the procedures, collecting Biographic/ Biometric data with e-ID system to issue Unique ID numbers.

The Union Minister also inspected the storage of office documents and work implementations to prevent flooding within the office compound, instructing the participation of all eligible voters within the township to cast their votes in phase-3 of the election. After hearing reports by the officials, the Union Minister fulfilled the needs and provided cash assistance and foodstuff to the stuff.

At the Chan Myae Home for the Aged, the Union Minister met with 20 elderly persons, oversaw the health care provision and provided cash assistance and foodstuff to them. Solar lights and foodstuff were also provided to the officials from the home for the aged.

At the meeting hall of the Mawlamyinekyun Township General Administration Department, the Union Minister met with the township veterans to clarify the arrangement of holding phase-3 of the election successfully, urging all to cast their votes for the country and coordinated the needs on the reports of the officials. This was followed by provision of foodstuff and solar lights to the veterans and officials.
