Work Coordination Meeting : Prevention of Illegal Plagiarism of Artworks discussed

The work coordination meeting of Association of Anti-Illegal Plagiarism of Artworks (2/2023) was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The meeting was attended by chairman of the Association of Anti-Illegal Plagiarism of Artworks, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, departmental officials, officials from special branch under Ministry of Home Affairs, Myanmar Motion Picture Organization and Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central), and Director General U Ye Naing and other officials from related ministries and related organizations attended the meeting via online.

At the meeting, chairman of the Association clarified the losses of artists and productions caused by illegal plagiarism of artworks and work implementations of the association to take action against illegal artwork traders who are illegally distributing the artworks through both tradition ways and online platforms.

Then, the Director General U Ye Naing, chairman of Myanmar Motion Picture Organization U Kyi Soe Tun and officials from related ministries discussed preventive measures related to illegal Plagiarism and distribution and chairman of the Association of Anti-Illegal Plagiarism of Artworks coordinated the requirements and gave concluding remarks.
