Work Coordination Meeting : Plans for successful holding of 63rd anniversary Peasants’ Day

Bago Region Government held a work coordination meeting for successful holding of 63rd anniversary Peasants’ Day on Friday.

Patron of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Peasants’ Day Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the meeting and outlined the plans for commemorative event, calling for cooperation among the work committees for successful holding of the event.

Attendees reported on work implementations by the respective sectors and preparation measures. The Peasants’ Day celebration will feature recognition to the farmers who exceeded the target yields, sharing session for four major methods for farming, model crop plantations and cage breeding farms.

Students and teachers from Agriculture and Livestock Breeding High Schools and Agricultural Institutes in the region will be invited. In addition, Vegetables and Fruits Competitions will be organized with the participation of those from six districts. The event also sets to display farm implement and local MSME product booths.
