Work Coordination Meeting: Plans for organizing the 78th Anniversary Union Day

The Taninthayi Region Government Office hosted a work coordination meeting with sub-committees for the successful celebration of the 78th Anniversary Union Day in Dawei Township on Saturday.

During the meeting, Chief Minister U Myat Ko emphasized the annual Union Day ceremony and formation of the sub-committees by relevant departments. He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts for successful celebration of national flag hoisting, message reading and exhibitions at the occasion.

The Chief Minister reviewed reports on ceremony preparations including military parade, security matters, invitations, press release and accommodation, transportation, catering and healthcare. It was followed by sector-wise discussions of the Region Ministers. The Chief Minister then coordinated necessary actions upon the reports.
