Work coordination meeting: MoC Union Minister attended the meeting

A work coordination meeting for the development of Myanmar coffee production and export promotion was held at the Ministry of Commerce on Monday with the attendance of the Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo, Deputy Minister, Director Generals, Chairman of the Myanmar Coffee Association and departmental officials.

At the meeting, the Union Minister stressed to improve the coffee export promotion. At present, Myanmar coffee products are exported to US and 14 countries from Asia and Europe. And, plans are underway to export qualified coffee products to more foreign countries and to expend the international market with the collaboration of the Ministry, relevant departments, organizations and coffee growers and businesspersons.

Then, the Deputy Minister, Director Generals, departmental officials discussed about the work implementations of the development of the coffee production and export market conditions and the Union Minister coordinated the requirements.
