






The e-Government Implementation Working Committee held its work coordination meeting at the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
Committee Chairman Union Minister U Mya Tun Oo attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The Union Minister stressed the need to identify departments’ e-Government activities, future plans, requirements and challenges for effective coordination and integration.
He urged all stakeholders to embrace digital transformation as a national agenda and transition from e-Government to Digital Government to enhance government efficiency and public services.
He called for digitizing workflows to provide One-Stop Services, establishing an Open Government Data system and adopting standardized ICT infrastructure and shared platforms, including the upgraded Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), across all departments to support a paperless government. Subsequently, committee members presented their departments’ ongoing activities and future plans.
The Union Minister then coordinated the needs in response to the reports.
