Work coordination meeting: Meeting for holding the 8th Anniversary of NCA

The work coordination meeting of the Steering Committee for Organizing the 8th Anniversary of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Steering Committee Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, the secretary of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) Lt Gen Min Naing and committee members, deputy ministers including in the Steering Committee, permanent secretaries and officials.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Steering Committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae explained the policies on the 8th Anniversary of NCA and plans to hold the ceremony with practical and meaningful way.

After that, Lt Gen Min Naing, secretary of the Steering Committee reported plans for holding the ceremony and concerned officials reported on the invitation to attendees, taking documentary photos and systematic work plans in holding the ceremony.

The deputy ministers discussed the work programs to be carried out by respective work committees and attendees gave suggestions on the needs. Afterwards, Chairman of the Steering Committee Lt-Gen Yar Pyae supplemented on the reports and then the meeting concluded.

The 8th Anniversary of NCA is planned to be held with the full essence and meaningfully on 15 October 2023.
