Work coordination meeting: Meeting with departments for regional development held

The work coordination meeting with the departments for the development of administrative, economic and social sectors in Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw was held at the Nay Pyi Taw Council office on 22nd October and attended by Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, Council members, acting permanent secretary of Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee, Nay Pyi Taw level departmental officials, Chairmen of District administrators.

In his opening speech, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo said the systematic implementation of agricultural and livestock breeding, cultivation for meeting the target yield for the food security, expansion of oil crops cultivation for the sufficiency of local consumption and extended cultivation of long staple cotton, supporting for development of MSMEs for production of commodities, acceleration of producing One Region One Product (OROP), rehabilitation tasks for the flood affected agricultural farms etc.

Next, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Secretary U Nyi Nyi Min clarified the works to be done for the regional development.

Then, the departmental officials explained work implementations for the development of agricultural and livestock breeding sectors, works executing for the development of MSMEs and industrial zones.
