Work Coordination Meeting: Machinery Supervisory Committee held a meeting

A work coordination meeting of Machinery Supervisory Committee under the Ministry of Industry was held at the Ministry on Thursday with the attendance of Chairman of the Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than and officials.

At the meeting, Union Minister said that it was mentioned that the Ministry of Transport and Communications is implementing plans to successfully establish e-Governance systems. In letters submitted to the Machinery Supervisory Committee, it was noted that, with the inclusion of computer and related equipment from the fourth generation, as well as communication-related devices, the committee members need to contribute to drafting procedures that ensure these items provide effective benefits to the country.

The committee is also scrutinizing projects implemented by the ministries to ensure they are effective and beneficial. It was added that whenever machinery is purchased and used, efforts should be made to acquire the associated technologies, the Machinery Supervisory Committee plays a vital role in country’s machinery sector.

He urged all for systematic implementation of the tasks in accordance with policy and work procedures of the Committee. Then, the relevant Committee members and representatives of the ministries clarified regarding with four case files and the Union Minister gave a speech of conclusion.
