Work Coordination Meeting: Efforts for development of waterfront areas in Monywa

A Work Coordination Meeting for systematic development of waterfront areas in Monywa Township was held at Sagaing Region Government Office on 23rd January.

During the Meeting, Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw emphasized to ensure the ports within the region meet the set standards, along with the implementation for beautification, preventing erosion. He urged officials to make collaboration through conducting field inspection.

Officials reported on the ongoing processes of the beautification and developments measures, issuance of licenses for river sand and stone extraction businesses, systematic operation of vessels, future plans and security measures. Subsequently, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the activities for the cleanliess and beautification of port areas along Chin Dwin River and coordinated the needs.
