Work Coordination Meeting: Distribution of electricity in Mandalay Region

A Work Coordination Meeting on distribution of electricity in Mandalay Region was held at Mandalay Electricity Supply Corporation on November 8th.

Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun attended the meeting and made an opening speech. He said plans are underway to expand power generation to meet the demand, along with the reducing power shortage, minimization of power losses and improving voltage stability. He urged all to make collaborative efforts in implementing the tasks, providing best services to the public.

The meeting discussed the current work undertakings, power distribution in respective districts and townships, annual power consumption, plans for minimization power losses and collecting electricity bills.
