Work Coordination Meeting: Discussion on the National Single Window System

A Work Coordination Meeting for National Single Window System Implementation Committee ,being held at meeting hall of Internal Revenue Department in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday, attended by the Committee Chairman and Union Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Kan Zaw.

At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed that in order to carry out the trade business swiftly in international and ASEAN regions, Myanmar is implementing the State Single Window System in accordance with the Kyoto Protocol and its general supplementary amendment as well as the world trade organization and ASEAN trade facilitation agreements.

He added that the initiative aims to execute the clearance of goods and  trade programmes in timely and costly. He stressed that the National Single Window System must be implemented by the year 2028, and called for cooperation of related departments in implementing the System. The meeting was followed by the explanation of forward process of National Single Window System.
