Work Coordination Meeting: Development of animal health and livestock sector

A work coordination meeting on development of animal health and livestock sector was held at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on Thursday.

Chairman of the Central Committee for Animal Health and Livestock Development Union Minister U Min Naung made a speech, calling for collaboration among the departments, private sector and farmers for development of livestock and dairy products, ensuring local food sufficiency.

He also outlined the tasks of the central committee for exclamation of breeding zones, along with the establishment of animal disease free zone and control zone. He emphasized for supervising the registration process of animal medicines and feeds. The meeting discussed the progress of implementing the animal health, disease control and livestock development, and future plans.
