Work coordination meeting: Bago Region CM gave opening remark

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win presided over the Bago Region Disaster Management Committee’s work coordination meeting at the region government office on 1st October.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed to emphasize on uninterrupted public transportation, scrutinizing the strength of the flood retaining embankments to meet set standards, acceleration of rehabilitation tasks within Taungoo District, accurate data compilation of damaged infrastructure as well as the reissuance of National Registration Cards and Households lists in flood-hit areas.

Next, matters pertaining to rescue measures, financing, accomodation and health issues of the flood victims as well as rehabilitation activities and collecting data on loss and damages were presented.  Then, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions and fulfilled requirements.
