Work Committee meeting: Finalized draft of NLL to be submitted to NLUC

The 7thmeeting of the Work Committee on Drafting the National Land Law and Harmonization of Laws related with Land Management was held at the meeting hall of the Union Minister's office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation on 7thOctober.

The meeting was attended by Committee Chairman-1, Union Minister U Min Naung, Committee Chairman -2, Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, committee members, Chairmen of the supporting working groups, and leaders of the law drafting subcommittees.During the meeting, the Union Ministers delivered opening remarks.

The secretary of the committee presented the initial draft of the National Land Law, previous suggestions, further recommendations, and the revised draft prepared by the working group. The attendees discussed each Section and Sub-Section in detail.

The meeting aimed to consolidate the interim approvals and review the earlier sections of the draft law in greater detail. The finalized draft of the National Land Law is expected to be submitted to the National Land Utilization Council by the end of October.
