Work Activities: School Nutrition Program and development works in Myitkyina

On 6th February, Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan accompanied by concerned officials inspected the provision of nutritional meals to the primary students held at the basic education schools in Myitkyina, Winemaw, Moenyin and Moe Kaung townships under school nutrition programme.

In order to spread nutritional awareness and physical development of the primary students and to promote healthy and nutrient food in daily diet, nutritional meals provisions have conducted for 3 times at the total of 78 basic education schools across the country on 24th and 30th January and 6th February.

On the same day, the Chief Minister and officials inspected 400 acres of vacant and virgin land which is designated to build infrastructures for the first Sports and Physical Education Institute in Myitkyina, the University of Computer Studies and departmental organizations.

The Chief Minister heard reports on road projects and further work implementations of the land area and stressed on systematic land application and project implementation. The Chief Minister also inspected the 1.9 km long gravel road construction at Sports and Physical Education Institute area, 2.04 km long gravel road construction at Zakhone road section-2 and concrete bailey bridge construction.
