Women's Physical Fitness: Regions and State Aerobics Competition kicks off in Nay Pyi Taw

The 2023 Regions and State Women's Physical Fitness (Aerobics) Competition commenced at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

The opening ceremony saw the presence of members of the State Administration Council, including Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Dr Hmu Htan, Dr Ba Shwe, U Shwe Kyein, and U Yan Kyaw.

Also in attendance were Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, departmental personnel, officials from the Myanmar Women’s Sport Federation, invited guests, team managers, coaches, and athletes.

During the opening ceremony, Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee and Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, U Min Thein Zan, encouraged all participating teams to strive for success with the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The competition, featuring 14 teams from various regions and states, will run until November 17th. Participants will engage in a variety of events, including the 9-member senior level competition, fitness dance contest, trio events, and individual competitions.
