Women Football Academy: Construction underway in Mandalay

Plans are underway to open Women Football Academy in Mandalay.

On Saturday, Chief Minister U Myo Aung visited the Myanmar Football Academy in Chan Mya Thazi Township to oversee the construction progress of the three-storey building. With 1.89 billion US dollar assistance by FIFA, the Women Football Academy is established for development of women football sports, achieving success in the international tournament. During the visit, the Chief Minister presented football to the youth attendees at Summer Basic Football Training Course.
