WFP Representative in Palestine on Gaza Food Situation

World Food Program (WFP) Representative in Palestine, Antoine Renard highlighted that the situation has improved in terms of access to food in Gaza, but living conditions “remain very dire” in the Strip. Renard spoke to reporters on 18 December via video link from Gaza City.

He said, “food access has actually significantly improved, adding that all WFP distribution networks are up and running, and the programme managed to reach more than one million people with direct food boxes and wheat flour.
