Western China International Fair: Union Minister attends 5th Investment and Trade Fair

Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Commerce U Aung Naing Oo on Thursday attended the opening of the 5th Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade – WCIFIT in Chongqing municipality.

And, the delegation visited the international booths including the one of Myanmar at the fair. The exhibition is held with the aim of cooperation between the western region of China and trading partner countries for a better future. It is known that 36 countries are participating in this Fair with 824 booths which will be held till May 21.

The delegation also attended a lunch hosted by the vice general secretary of Chongqing municipality Mr. Li Mingqing and discussed promotion of trade and investment between the two countries and the export of Myanmar agricultural products.
