West Bank has been Raid by Israel

Israel said it has killed a Hamas commander in Jenin in the West Bank, on the third day of its military operation there. 

The operation has attracted international criticism, including from the UK. The Foreign Office on Saturday said it is “deeply concerned” about Israel’s methods and “reports of civilian casualties and the destruction of civilian infrastructure.”

The grinding conflict between Israel and armed Palestinian groups in the West Bank is still very different to the Gaza war, but that war has changed attitudes and tactics on both sides. It has changed how Israel views the threat from armed groups and, some say, it is also changing its response on the ground.
